Phillip Kitzer Presents at NELA Employment Law Technology Conference in Chicago, IL

Phillip Kitzer presented at the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA) Spring Seminar, held March 20–21, 2026, at the Crowne Plaza Chicago West Loop in Chicago, Illinois. The annual conference, titled “Powering Up Your Practice with AI and Legal Tech,” brought together plaintiffs’ employment attorneys from across the country to discuss emerging technologies and evolving best practices in employment law.

Mr. Kitzer presented on the panel “Comparing Case Management Systems,” which focused on practical considerations for law firms evaluating technology to manage their practices efficiently. He was joined by fellow presenters Larry Johnson, Hawks Quindel, and Brooke Timmer at Timmer, Judkins, and Borland, who shared insights on the strengths and limitations of various platforms, as well as the role of more streamlined tools in supporting smaller firms. The panel provided attendees with practical guidance on selecting and implementing systems that align with firm size, workflow, and long-term growth objectives.

The seminar featured a range of sessions addressing the growing role of artificial intelligence and legal technology in employment law, from AI-assisted drafting and discovery to foundational tools for solo and small firm practitioners. Mr. Kitzer’s participation reflects the firm’s continued commitment to staying at the forefront of legal technology and sharing practical insights with the broader plaintiffs’ employment law community.
